I purchased this brush to use with the Brilliant liner from the LM range-it is excellent if you're trying to achieve a fine line close to the lash line as it's a soft and very finely tapered brush. It wouldn't be very effective with cake liners as the brush is too delicate to pick up product that is waxy, but it would work very well with any wet to dry product. I dip it in the liner pot and place the brush at an angle with the point touching the outer corner of my eye, then bring the brush in half way and repeat from the inner corners. However, in order to achieve a natural line, the brush should be rinsed regularly to ensure the product build-up doesn't stiffen the brush.
