After the rave reviews of this brow product on Adore, I purchased hoping for something that would suit my fair colouring. My brows are sparse and fine and pale, so I hoped for this product to be on the gel side of a wax - but unfortunately it needed five minutes behind my knees to be a 'workable' consistency (could be living so far south that it doesn't soften enough naturally). I purchased the lightest colour, which was okay, but still found it to be a bit too brown and warm for me. I am a big LM fan, but sadly this product stuck more to my skin that brows and required too much effort to use.

Having used many, many brow products in the past - but never having applied anything with a brush, I decided to give this a try. The pot has a generous amount of colour in it - I have had this product for 3 months and have barely made a dent in it! The colour is rich and glides on easily (obviously a good-quality brush helps here), and it lasts all day. The price is completely reasonable for the quality and amount of product you receive. I will never go back to pencils again!

I am a brow aficionado and always on the lookout for the next great products to keep my pathetic brows defined and looking great all day. I believe I may have stumbled on the holy grail here! I have quite sparse brows and it can be difficult to fill them in without that "pencilled-in" look. Laura Mercier Brow Definer does the trick here. It's a hard gel/wax texture, and it actually fills in my brows and builds up each individual hair without "drawing" on the skin itself too much. Therefore it looks far more natural than any pencils or powders I've tried before. And - mercifully - the colour is beautiful. I have very dark brown hair and this one defines my brows without looking too black or vampire-ish. And it doesn't have the orange/red tints that many brow products can have. I would rate its staying power as 7 out of 10, but I do have oily skin and live in a warm sweaty climate, so it can be really difficult for ANY makeup product to last all day. A Laura Mercier rep did suggest setting it with a quick sweep of a powder, which would probably help it last longer. All in all, I would definitely recommend this one to anyone who wants the polished, elegant look which comes from having well-groomed, defined brows.

I love this stuff! The pot is tiny and great for taking when going away, but it lasts for aaaaages. I use it with an angled brow brush and gently sweep it through my brows. It helps define them, keep them in place and fill them in. I never used to use brow products, but now this has become a must-use daily product.
