Invisible Zinc Tinted Lip & Cheek Balm

Great product to use, especially during Summer and when going to the beach. I use this product in one of two ways...either directly over IZ sunscreen for a natural sheen to the cheeks, or over foundation during afternoons/evenings when I want a darker coverage and I can layer it on the base make up. I like the colour - more of an ocre brown, which will not come out dark unless layered on, even on my pale skin. Gives a lovely sheen, and I love its SPF coverage. On lips, gives a hint of colour, which is nice for a natural look. For any drying of lips, I put on Lucas paw paw ointment first (vaseline works too) to hydrate my lips, then apply. I don't mind the packaging, as I buy the smaller version, so its not so difficult to use. With the larger version I'd apply to lower lip then rub together. Its not a make up which will make you stand out, but its perfect for a natural glow. Highly recommend.

The colour on me was a perfect natural hue. This comes in a roll up tube which is great for applying to your cheeks but not so good to apply on your lips. You have to roll your finger on the product and then apply. It can sometimes feel a bit dry when you first apply it but once it is warmed up with your fingers it is much easier to blend and get the desired effect. It left my lips feeling dry so I felt like I wanted to apply lip balm on top. Great for my cheeks though. Fab product for the beach or for taking on holiday.

It's not pink, it's not brown, it's natural and 'fleshy'. It doesn't smell or taste yucky, it stays put, it is protection for the lips, it's great value...The only criticism I have is for the packaging, for which I removed one and a half stars-the stick is so wide that it's not feasible to use on the lips as a standard lip balm, you have to run your finger in a circular motion on the top to warm and pick up the product. This width is probably designed for use on the cheeks, but as the product is solid, it needs warming before it can be transferred for which fingers are necessary.

I had high hopes for this product, but it didn't deliver. I had trouble blended it and the colour was too dark. It would probaly suit someone not as pale as me.
