Oh my goodness! I always thought this GHD was just an older style used strictly for straightening longer hair but I have recently been proved wrong! I have lob length hair and had curls done using it and they came up so big and bouncy. I never thought that the wide plates would make a good curler but they really do! Doesn't snag at all either which is insanely good.Great for thick, curly hair!
This straightener is my go-to when I need to straighten my thick and curly hair! With the wide plate, this straightens my hair quicker and prevents my hair from returning to it's frizzy state. Would certainly re-purchase this in a heartbeat.GHD

I had the original GHD tho it was doin the job seemed to take forever and needed more than a once over. The new big head design is so worth it if you have really long thick frizzy hair like mine.
