Overall

This is a translucent powder with tiny tiny silver shimmer particles, so dont know why there are two shades. I dont like glitter/ shimmer but those who do will like this better than the usual because of the tiny light coloured particles. It's not that mattifying unless you apply heaps but then risk putting on too much sparkle and I think you can get the same effect with much cheaper brands. I cant notice the sparkle in natural light but can when its dark and in artifical light.
