The natural plant substances in Dr.Hauschka's aluminium free Deodorant provide reliable protection and the creamy lotion is very gentle to sensitive skin. Its fresh and tangy fragrance will suit both men and women. The active ingredient is zinc ricinoleate - a mixture of zinc oxide and ricinoleic acid (extracted from the castor oil bean). Recinoleate chemically "imprisons" the smell molecules of sweat in chemical cage-like construction - it absorbs the smell. As with the other products in the Dr.Hauschka range, there may have to be a period of adjustment while the skin readjusts to a new product.
