Dermalogica Dermal Clay Cleanser

Wouldn't use it every day, since i have combo/dehydrated skin.. However it does get congested alot.. and this cleanser feels good on my skin.. Probably better for oilier skin types though.. :)

I hate to say it but this cleanser brought me to tears, literally. As soon as it hit my skin my eyes started watering and my skin was burning. I managed to cover my face before I washed it off with a cool face washer. I feel as though my skin is still puffy and red. Glad this was a sample, will not be buying. Also I do not feel as though I am sensitive, I use actives everyday with no problem so Im going to guess it was the essential oils here which caused the problem for me.

While training with Dermalogica (in beauty therapy) I had the opportunity to purchase the Dermal Clay Cleanser. Having combination skin I thought this would be the perfect cleanser for me, as clay is found to be very "deep cleaning". Though having sensitive skin I could feel the "menthol" working too the extreme, thus leaving me with red skin, even though it did make my skin feel throughly clean. Great for oily skin types, though I recommend people with sensitive skin not to use this every day, only when needed - i.e skin breakouts and when the skin has become overly oily. The 500ml lasted me two years (no it did not go off) and definately got my $$$ worth.

This is a really lovely cleanser and would be an excellent choice for anyone with oily skin. I don't like foaming/gel cleansers because they are very drying; this one is a great alternative. It has a creamy clay texture and cleanses the skin incredibly well without leaving it dry or tight. The clay is great for purifying but it is quite gentle. I'd definitely repurchase.

This is a brilliant product!So refreshing to use,really wakes your skin up in the morning leaving it tingly and super clean.I even use it as a masque every few days by simply leaving on the skin for 10minutes or so.Highly reccommended for anyone with oily skin!
