Ok

This is an ok toner. It’s just not gentle enough for sensitive skin. It’s not hydrating enough for dry skin. There are better products out there.

  2. Great toner

    Sandra T

I've used this toner before and have come back to it again as I feel my skin improves when I use it.
  3. Nice toner

    Cas

This toner feels nice to apply. It is mildly exfoliating, but I find I have to use a stronger exfoliater as well. It is alcohol free so it is better for dry or dehydrated skin, although it still has astringent ingredients.

  5. Not necessarily great for sensitive skin

I have extremely sensitive, combination skin, so I was really excited when Clinique released a "super gentle", alcohol free toner. It does what it says on the box, and I found it made my skin feel extra clean after cleansing, although it does seem to strip the skin with regular, prolonged use. After about a week of daily use, I started to get flaky, red patches around my chin and the edges of my n...

Good results, not too strong unlike some toners.
  9. I liked it at first

    Mona

This product at first, I thought was really great and helped my skin feel and look brighter, but after a while I think it started to dry my skin out. I think that is from the witch hazel which is high up on the ingredient list. I do have sensitive skin, but not overly so, so was disappointed by this, however depending on your skin type you might find it effective.

It Does what it’s suppose to do. Takes away anything left behind from cleanses the face.
  11. Not good for sensitive skin

    Madelaine

I have sensitive, dry, eczema prone skin. I purchased this as it doesn't have the alcohol and is supposed to be better for dry skin. However, after using it morning and night for a few days - it completely stripped my skin and left me with dry/flaky patches on my face. If you have very dry or sensitive skin, go for something else, this isn't your product - I don't think Clinique has a version of t...

  12. A more gentle choice

    Diane

I am now using this 1.0 toner as opposed to the original 1 as it is far more suited to my mature, combination skin. This has no alcohol so doesn’t cause a stinging reaction when applied, unlike the other one. I use it as my third step in a cleansing routine after cleansing oil and cleansing lotion from other brands when removing makeup.
