Cellex-C Advanced-C Serum

Overview

A lightweight, oil-free, aqueous solution containing a high concentration of Cellex-C Complex signature ingredients, plus powerful free-radical scavengers and natural collagen protectors. This formulation contains 17.5% vitamin C in a combination of free form and hydrolized ascorbic acid to maximize visible benefits to the skin in the shortest possible time. Can be used by all except the most sensitive skin. May be used alone or with other Cellex-C Core formulations. If you are new to Cellex-C, we suggest you start with High-Potency Serum before moving up to the Advanced-C range.

FEATURES
• An advanced patented serum formulation. Cellex-C is the only skin care line in the world licensed to utilize the Bioderm patents created by Dr. Faxon-Meisner.
• Contains 17.5% vitamin C in a scientifically formulated combination of hydrolysed and free-form L-ascorbic acid—the only form of vitamin C that the body can recognize and utilize for collagen production.
• Contains hydrolysed ascorbic acid—an exciting development in cosmetic chemistry because its chemical structure enables it to bypass the normal conversion required by the skin to facilitate entry into the skin cell, where it is utilized to promote collagen synthesis.
• Contains Resveratrol—an exceptional free radical scavenger extracted primarily from mulberries and grapes. Resveratrol is believed to protect collagen through two mechanisms: 1) by inhibiting enzymes that degrade collagen, and 2) by supporting existing collagen structures. The distinctive golden pink colour is derived from the resveratrol content.
• Contains grape seed extract—a rich source of proanthocyanidins, nutritionally supports the micro-vascular health of the skin by protecting cells within capillaries from free radical damage.
• Contains glycine—an important amino acid building block essential for the formation glutathione, part of the skin’s natural anti-oxidant defence system.
• Contains L-ergothioneine—a natural super anti-oxidant present in tissues which are subject to high oxidative stress.

Water (aqua), ascorbic acid*, acetyl tyrosine*, zinc sulphate*, glycine*, resveratrol, grape seed extract, L-ergothioneine, sodium hyaluronate, green tea extract. *Patented Cellex-C Complex internationally protected by U.S. Patent Nos. 4,938,969 & 4,772,591.

Directions

Apply once a day to freshly cleansed and toned skin. Using the glass pipette provided, squeeze 2-3 drops of the serum into the palm of your hand. Dip your fingertips into the fluid and gently wipe over your entire face and neck. Avoid the eye area, hairline and eyebrows. Allow one minute for the serum to be absorbed, until the skin is touch-dry. Follow with Cellex-C Skin Hydration Complex, then a moisturiser (and/or sunscreen in the morning). NOTE: If you are new to Cellex-C, we suggest you start with the High Potency Serum rather than the Advanced-C range. If you are using Alpha Hydroxy Acids, use them at night and Advanced-C Serum in the morning.
