BECCA Boudoir Skin Mineral Powder Foundation

I have to admit my first impression was that yes it is nice packaging but gee it's a bit on the small side. So I have taken a star off in the value for money section. The product itself is lovely. I have oily but dehydrated skin so often with powder foundations I can look a bit flaky, but not with this one. I love the feel of it on my skin and it gives perfect coverage. You can't see any of my redness. A great product that I will purchase again.

I''ve tried quite a few mineral foundations now and this is one of my favourites. The compact is on the small-ish size, true but it''s much less messy to apply than loose minerals, and it still seems to last a reasonable amount of time. Best of all is the finish: buildable coverage, matte-ish but not flat or chalky, and luminous without being sparkly. Bliss is a perfect match for my fair-to-light skin.

The compact is beautiful (though not as big as some) and comes in a brown satin drawstring bag to protect it. I keep this in my handbag for touch ups. The coverage is very good and I don't need to apply concealer underneath like I usually would when I touch up. The powder is very finely milled so you don't look caked or too powdery.

This is the best mineral powder I have used. Its silky, finely milled texture means that it looks lovely when buffed onto the skin, and doesn't leave a powdery finish at all. It gives the perfect amount of sheer coverage over a liquid foundation or tinted moisturiser.

This has become my favourite mineral foundation. I use Bliss, which blends in to my fair skin well over summer (in winter I might not be able to wear this, though). This foundation is easy to apply, offers a gorgeous coverage which is buildable in areas which need a little more attention, and is stylishly packaged like all Becca products. I wish the compact was larger; it seems to be an odd size to me; however I think for the price it is quite reasonable. I will happily repurchase this product!

This is an ultra silky pressed mineral powder that blends very well and leaves a natural looking matte finish-no chalkiness or excessive blending needed at all! The texture is the nicest I have tried and the packaging is just lovely too - but sadly you don't get a lot of bang for your buck, nor is there a good colour selection for fair skinned girls so I had to take off two stars from the value and re-purchase sections. I bought Bliss, which is a neutral tone but it is still too dark for me. This 'mineral' powder has a few more additions to it than most, too - including a silicone polymer so if you need purity, this might not be the one for you.

Beautifully packaged and presented - however sadly my joy ended once I unwrapped this foundation. I have been a longtime user of bloom mineral foundation and find it to be far superior to this. The foundation has a tendency to look flat, even at the hand of a seasoned mineral make-up wearer. It is far chalkier than I would like and requires a very delicate hand. This can be problematic when trying to obtain the right amount of coverage. I really wanted to like this but I wont be buying it again. I wasnt a fan of the texture or the overall resulting appearance of my skin once applied. I hope the rest of you have more success with this product!
