At Adore Beauty we love beauty blogs and at the moment we are reading Ponikuta.com.  We talk to Valerie about her passion for beauty and blogging.

1.   How long have you been blogging for and why did you start your blog?

I have been blogging 8 years in April 2012. It has been a long rewarding journey for me. I've started ponikuta.com as a personal diary to keep family and friends updated with my day-to-day life. It started with posts about beauty, food, movies, books and music. Over the years, it just slowly morphed into 100% beauty as the age of 'online stalking' becomes imminent.

 2.   What do you love most about writing about beauty?

That I am able to share my obsession about beauty with everyone whether if it's a product review, a new beauty tip I've learnt or discovered something new. It's always exciting and the beauty world is truly your oyster.

3.   What is your favourite product of all time?

Tough question, if I were to pick just one product, it would be Tweezerman tweezers. Can't live without a nice set of trimmed brows.

4.   What's in your makeup bag right now?

I have a confession, I am probably the only beauty blogger on earth that does not carry a makeup bag. Never has and never will. I do however carry Lanolips lip ointment, lipstick-of-the-day and blotting paper with me regardless of what bag I use.
