ALOE BARBADENSIS GEL
Aloe, genus of plants with more than 150 species, is mostly native to South Africa. Aloes belong to the Liliaceae family.
The native Aloe Vera plant gets its remarkable therapeutic properties from more than 200 biologically active compounds that work together like individual members of a finely tuned orchestra. But like in an orchestra, they depend on a director – the polysaccharide molecule – to keep them working in concert synergistically.

BITTER ORANGE FLOWER DISTILLATE
Distilled orange-flower water, characterised by a fresh and delicate fragrance that is very pleasant and aromatic, it carries out a vitalising and anti-oxidant action. Orange, widely used in cosmetics for its refreshing, tranquilising, revitalising and vitaminising actions on the skin.
SODIUM COCO-GLUCOSIDE TARTRATE
A naturally derived cleansing agent that carries out delicate cleansing without damaging the Natural Moisturising Factor and without altering the physiological pH of the skin.
GLYCERIN
Vegetal glycerin is extracted from the coconut palm tree. It carries out the important action of maintaining the skin’s hydration and moisture level as well as preventing water loss from the skin.
MALVA SYLVESTRIS EXTRACT
Amongst the active ingredients of malva sylvestris (mallow), the first to mention are surely the mucilages, contained in the plant in doses that can be up to 15-20%. The plant also contains pectin, various vitamins (A, B1, B2, C, E),malvina (an anthocyanin that imparts the purple colour to flowers), some fatty substances (eg. Oleic acid), mineral salts and organic acids.
Such substances act in two different ways: they either tend to minimise evaporation on the epidermis level forming a thin film on the skin, or they act as more deeply acting functional factors to produce moisture retention in the acid mucopolisaccharides that are principally responsible for below-skin hydration. Malva extracts, rich in mucilages, therefore carry out a soothing, protecting and decongestant activity on the skin. Hydrating products, including malva, tend to remedy blemishes that are characteristics of dry skin or partially dehydrated skin types.
MALIC ACID
Malic acid can be found in apples, grapes, plums, currants and quinces. It helps to metabolize fats and proteins and has a smoothing and regenerative effect.
MANDELIC ACID
Mandelic acid, an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), is named after the German word for almond (Mandel) and derives from the hydrolysis of an extract of bitter almonds. It has been studied extensively and proved that mandelic acid is useful in treating and suppressing common skin problems such as photo aging, irregular pigmentation and acne. Moreover it has proven useful in preparing the skin for laser peeling and in helping the skin heal after laser surgery.
HYDROXYETHYLCELLULOSE
This substance derived from a vegetable source carries out a protecting film action and gels the solution to optimise its application.
