The Turkish rose enhanced by various flowers and plants leaves a fresh, intoxicating scent on the skin. A perception of rose that comes to life after many years of contemplation, exalted to such a degree that we no longer know if it is truly, uniquely rose or a breathtaking floral ensemble. Inspired by a rose in a "priest's garden", which Annick stumbled upon by chance one summer when she was young. Her wish was to recreate this delicate, smooth, mysterious, subtle, almost wild fragrance. Annick has never revealed the secret composition of Ce Soir ou Jamais, but its notes centre around the Turkish rose, enhanced by ambrette seeds and hibiscus.

Overall

I love this at first - alcoholic roses, with a deep 'something else' that just makes me swoon. But it fades - sadly - to powdery potpourri on me. ALMOST wonderful.
