The cream feels nice and luxurious, great for dry skin and washes away makeup well, but the scent is so off putting. It smells like a mixture between tequila and sick. Disappointed as this was my first Aesop product, however if the scent was amended I would purchase again.The best

verified purchaserI love Aesop products, I have used the face moisturiser for months and love it, in need of a new cleanser I thought I would purchase and try there cleaner after reading a few reviews, BIG mistake whilst it cleans my skin nicely it’s the SMELL I was stunned by, no other way to describe it but old dead flowers that have been left to rot in water, it’s disgusting!

I use this cleanser at night as a second cleanser after my oil cleanser, and as my only cleanser in the morning. The balm doesn't dry out your skin the way soap cleansers do and smells nice, even though the scent is quite strong. I would recommend this product if you don't like that squeaky clean feeling of a soap cleanser - this is a very good alternative.Great cleanser for dry skin

I received a sample of this with a recent order and immediately put it to use to remove a full face of makeup. It has a lovely creamy texture and herbaceous scent, and effortlessly removes every last trace of makeup products. A gentle but effective cleanser.Great Cleanser
I have dry/sensitive skin and do find this quite rich sometimes (it can leave my skin feeling warm depending on what else I've used on it), however I love the scent, texture and experience of cleansing my face with this! Would definitely recommend Aesop always, to everyone.Love

Look the product is great, it really removes makeup and leaves my skin feeling fresh and hydrated. However it actually smells like tequila so if you’ve had a rough time in your early 20s like I did, then you may feel victimised.I was using this for a while and while it works well I think cleansing milk works much better

When first applying this cream cleanser the fragrance hits you, and tbh, it;'s just way too much. If you are a migraine sufferer or pregnant, this is not for you! The product works well and my skin felt fresh and bright after washing, but the fragrance is a big downside for me. Once washed off, the fragrance is pretty and not overpowering and my skin wasn't tight.Great cleanser to use

This is a very no frills cream cleanser. It works for pretty well all skin types, and even helped to balance out my combination skin a bit. It did not help with congestion, but is a perfectly gentle makeup remover or first step to double cleansing. It can be removed with just cotton pads if you're feel especially lazy but still need to remove makeup after a long day.

I'm a little oilier so wouldn't use again, but my sister who's dryer absolutely loves it.
Creamy and hydrating!
I hesitantly purchased this cream cleanser in hopes that it would soothe my relatively dry skin. I was pleasantly surprised that it not only cleansed my skin, but also added back some hydration. I purchased this product again, and although I am in the pursuit of amping up my skin care regimen, I will certainly be repurchasing this item.A little bit thick but moisturising
A little bit thick but moisturising cream suitable for all skin types, probably ideal for dry skin or during winter as it can almost be used as an overnight face mask. A little bit is all you need! Tube is handy for travela great face scrub!

This is the first aesop product I've bought and I love it.. My face feels really clean and fresh after this.. Using it at the minute for a pamper cleanse until I've gone through some of my other cleansers first.. Brilliant product would recommendnice

I used to hate cleansers. I found them drying and harsh. This is amazing. It's perfect for skin that tends to the dry side, a little goes a long way, my skin feels amazing during and after cleansing and it's gentle but effective. Definitely recommend.Feels wonderful

I adore AESOp and am generally happy with all their products. This cleanser is so gentle and light, and I loved it. However, I can't stand the packaging.. this might seem silly. I use this cleanser year-round, however, the only drawback to it is that it doesn't remove makeup very well. (Hence, 4 stars instead of 5). I cleanse my face with it to start, then use coconut oil to remove the rest of my makeup.Would definitely buy again
A lovely gentle cleanser with a beautiful soothing smell. I have normal/dry skin, and sometimes my skin can feel very tight after cleansing; for the most part, this cleanser does not cause that feeling at all and generally makes it feel quite hydrated after cleansing -- unless I am having a really bad skin week.
