A mix of natural oils that delicately cleanse the skin, removing make-up and impurities whilst respecting the physiological pH of the skin and without weakening the epidermis’s defence. This cleanser, uses the method “similar melts similar” and does not alter the Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF), a natural emulsion produced by our skin that becomes impoverished by cleansing based on traditional surfactants.
Thanks to the contained vegetable oils, Vitamin E and Vitamin A, it cleanses the skin preventing and minimising in one action the signs of ageing.
RICE BRAN OIL
Rice oil possesses refreshing, nourishing, soothing, antiseptic and astringent properties. The main substances contained are: proteins, starches, amilopectine, essential fatty acids, minerals, vitamins, gamma oryzanol and inositolo. Rice bran oil is obtained through a process of the cold pressing of the fresh rice bran that preserves its precious active ingredients. The oil is characteristic for it’s high level of tocopherols and tocotrienols that carry out an important anti-oxidant action combating the free radicals that are principally responsible for the skin’s ageing.
SUNFLOWER SEED OIL
Sunflower oil possesses soothing and nourishing properties. It prevents loss of water through transepidermal water loss, helping the skin’s hydration mechanism. Moreover, it caries out an important soothing action bringing precious oligominerals such as vitamins and mineral salts.
The substances contained in this oil possess also anti-oxidant properties that are able to combat the negative action of the free radicals.
OAT OIL
The main component of oat seeds is starch that carries out a soothing action. It contains nutritious oily substances, lectin, vitamins A, B1, B2, D and tocopherol, mineral salts (iron, calcium, magnesium and phosphates), sugars, enzymes, trigonelline (glucoside)and flavonoids. The nourishing properties of oats have been recognised since ancient times; it has a high energetic value, is vitaminising and mineralising. Locally, it has a soothing, anti-inflammatory and refreshing effect. It has proven useful in inflammatory skin conditions. Used for a soothing effect it is refreshing for dry and sensitive skins.
VITAMIN A
Dry and wrinkled skin is often caused by a deficiency of Vitamin A. Cosmetic use of Vitamin A is suggested to avoid or slow down the symptoms of ageing skin including dry or chapped skin. During cold weather, the skin becomes drier as less oily substances are released. It is therefore it is important to deliver a good supply of Vitamin A to the skin keeping it nourished and soothed.
VITAMIN E
In nature, this vitamin is present especially in oils of germ seed, in the various forms of a, b, g, d - tocopherol. The functions of vitamin E are as follows:
- acts as an anti-oxidant
- aids in the health and repair of connective tissues
Vitamin E can increase oxygen tissue utilization and is necessary to guarantee optimum capillary circulation. The topical application of vitamin E hastens the skin’s recovery from various diseases. Vitamin E is easily absorbed to the skin and has an occlusive effect on the decrease of water loss by transpiration. Moreover, this efficacy increases with the amount of applications. As an anti-oxidant, vitamin E acts directly on free radicals, reduces and slows down the peroxide formation and helps to keep the connective tissue in optimal conditions. For this reason, it can be used as a powerful tool in the fight against skin ageing.
