Burt’s Bees was born in the USA when Burt and his wife Roxanne started creating lip balms out of beeswax to sell alongside the honey they harvested from the thirty beehives from their farm in Maine. Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm began to outsell the honey, and the rest is history.
Today, Burt's Bees scours the good earth to find the most natural, effective ingredients to put in its products. All Burt’s Bees packaging is carefully chosen and designed to have the lowest possible impact on the environment. And above all, Burt's Bees never has and never will test their products or ingredients on animals.
