Adore Beauty arrived on the web way back in April 2000, the brainchild of self-confessed "beauty junkie" Kate Morris. Kate's goal: to make the hottest beauty brands available to her fellow beauty junkies all over Australia.
We opened the Adore Beauty Forum in October 2006, as a place where like-minded beauty fiends could get together and share their passion. Whoa - talk about a runaway success! We just love listening to everything the "Adorables" share with us and each other about their beauty finds and adventures. It’s where all the cool kids hang out!
Beauty IQ followed in 2007 to keep you up to date on the latest news in Australian beauty. Find out what’s new, what’s hot and what’s not with regular updates from our correspondents. (Got an idea for a story? Let us know.)
The latest kid on the block is the Beauty Reviews section. Read reviews (and leave your own) for every brand you can find on your local shelves and many you can’t!
We also have a store where you can come and visit us and put a face to the name! It isn’t large but you can touch, try and buy a selected range of products at our digs in Carlton North, Melbourne - more details and opening hours. We don't have every online product in the store - we'd need an airplane hangar for that! - so make sure you check the product listing to see if you need to phone ahead for us to have it ready for you.
Put it all together and you get a very awesome online beauty destination where you can read, review, discuss and buy all things beauty. And if that's not quite enough, you can even follow us on Twitter and Facebook. Looking forward to chatting with you soon!

About Kate
Kate Morris had the inspiration for Adore Beauty in 1999 at the age of 21. Having grown up in Launceston, Tasmania, she had always bemoaned the fact that all the hottest beauty products mentioned in the magazines were only available to those who lived in the big cities.
So what did she do? After studying a Bachelor of Business at Monash University while working on the cosmetic counters part-time, Kate was inspired to create an online beauty boutique that would allow women everywhere to access the best products, anywhere, anytime. Voila, Adore Beauty was born!
